I embossed then painted both sides of the brass square and heart for this 20 inch necklace. The painted designs have a clear glazed finish. The chain is accented with wire wrapped blue frosted glass beads. The focal piece is 2 1/2 inches.
My Use of Mixed Medium Materials
Many of my designs are one of a kind pieces because I often use found objects and up-cycled materials. Beads are also a central part of my designs and some are made by other artists that create a bead in limited editions. For these reasons I may not be able to make more than one of a particular design. However, I may be able to make a piece that is similar.
