I embossed then painted the brass focal piece in blues and purples. It is accented with a painted purple starfish & dangling crystals in blue and purple and an antiqued brass starfish. It attaches to the chain with an upcycled brass charm purple glass cabochon. The chain features glass scallop beads and crystals.
This necklace chain is 18 inches long with a 3 inch focal piece.
My Use of Mixed Medium Materials
Many of my designs are one of a kind pieces because I often use found objects and up-cycled materials. Beads are also a central part of my designs and some are made by other artists that create a bead in limited editions. For these reasons I may not be able to make more than one of a particular design. However, I may be able to make a piece that is similar.
