The center piece of this necklace is a 3 inch brass bezel with a queen bee who proudly wears her purple crown topped with a clear crystal cabochon. Her wings are silver with a slight sparkle. The chain is 20 inches and accented with faceted crystals.
My Use of Mixed Medium Materials
Many of my designs are one of a kind pieces because I often use found objects and up-cycled materials. Beads are also a central part of my designs and some are made by other artists that create a bead in limited editions. For these reasons I may not be able to make more than one of a particular design. However, I may be able to make a piece that is similar.
