This necklace is made of flowers I picked and dried and then embedded in jewelers grade resin. The bezel is brass that is plated with rose gold. It is accented with a Swarovski crystal, a glass ladybug and a green glass bead. The antiqued copper chain is 20 inches long and the focal is a total of 4 inches.
My Use of Mixed Medium Materials
Many of my designs are one of a kind pieces because I often use found objects and up-cycled materials. Beads are also a central part of my designs and some are made by other artists that create a bead in limited editions. For these reasons I may not be able to make more than one of a particular design. However, I may be able to make a piece that is similar.
